Apply for a pedestrian zone permit

You need permission to drive a vehicle in a pedestrian zone. You can apply for a permit (white badge) online.

Types of permit

Pedestrian zone permits

There are several types of permit, depending on the reason for an application:

off-street car parking access
banking access
business access
essential maintenance/ repairs to buildings access
Blue Badge holder access
community transport access
miscellaneous access

You must give the following information when applying:

type of permit you need
details of the restricted zone
date and time(s) of access
reason for access
vehicle details
